Services

Sports Medicine:
The doctors at Burbank Podiatry Associates Group are specialists in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries. After treating the immediate condition, the doctors will determine the factors that produced the injury to prevent its recurrence. Treatment may include exercise, physical therapy, shoe modifications, orthotics and occasionally surgery.

Orthotics:
Many people suffer from foot and leg pain and fatigue. This is frequently due to abnormal gait patterns such as excessive flatfooted ness or pronation. At Burbank Podiatry Associates Group we fabricate foot orthoses (custom-molded shoe inserts) which allow people to walk or run with optimum efficiency.

Industrial Injuries:
We are experts in evaluating and treating foot and ankle injuries that occur while working. The doctors are familiar with Workers’ Compensation laws of California.

Surgery:
There are many podiatric conditions that can be effectively eliminated surgically, such as bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, cysts and bone spurs. We are also equipped with the latest laser technology to treat warts, nail disorders and other soft tissue lesions. Most foot/ankle surgeries can be performed on an outpatient basis. The patient may be allowed to walk on the operated foot the day of the surgery. Many surgeries performed on the foot/ankle can be done under local or general anesthesia. Our doctors are on staff at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Glendale Memorial Hospital, Motion Picture and Television Hospital, and Alameda Surgery Center.

Diabetic Foot Care and Limb Salvage:
Wound Care Center – From preventative lecture series and diabetic shoe programs to salvage of severe ulcerated feet and Charcot foot reconstructions, Burbank Podiatry is a world leader in state of the art diabetic foot care. The latest techniques for limb salvage are available in our center.

Pediatric Foor Consulation:
From intoeing to clubfeet, Burbank Podiatry can diagnose and treat all types of pediatric to teenage foot and ankle issues.

Physical Therapy of the Lower Extremity:

A New Laser Treatment For Nail Fungus:
Nail fungus, also called onychomycosis, is a common condition estimated to affect up to 10% of the population worldwide, It can cause nails to become yellow or discolored. As the infection advances the nail can become thick, brittle and separate from the nail bed, It can also cause pain when wearing shoes or walking.

Cutting Edge Laser Technology:
Laser Therapy is the use of specif ic wavelengths of light to treat painful and debilitating conditions. Light energy enters the damaged cells and stimulates inter-cellular activity. This reduces pain in the area and speeds recovery of the damaged cells. Once the cells recover, the healing process is complete.
